@diddymuck, it’s only a “very banal conversation” if you make it to be. The whole point of asking open ended easy to answer questions is to break the ice, and if she keeps answering with “yes/no” replies then you know she’s a)not into you b)got a boyfriend or something.
Women who aren’t taken will often love to engage in conversation. Conversing with a woman isn’t so systematic so just lighten up and don’t just assume that asking her questions will always lead to “very banal conversation.”
